As part of the collaboration, a new piece of headwear, modeled after Nioh 2’s Scampuss yokai, has also been added to Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Players will obtain it as a reward for clearing the new side missions after which it will be a random drop from enemies. Additionally, new titles and records have been added, the threshold of Genuine Qi capable of being stored has been raised, and players can now possess an increased number of upgrade materials & more.

Aside from the new additions, various adjustments have also been made to the game. A new function has been added to Wo Long allowing the title to pre-compile shaders and provide a minimal-lag gameplay experience. Moreover, the time required to render large amounts of effects has been reduced along with the resolution of an issue preventing the game from being launched if the installation path included double-byte characters.

Wo Long launched on March 3, 2023, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and last-gen consoles. In our review, we gave it a rating of 4/5 citing its engaging combat system, setting, and build variety.
