At the moment, there are no plans for Infinite Wealth to come to Game Pass.”
Masayoshi acknowledged that they were able to invite a lot of international players to try out the series after they added Like a Dragon Gaiden to Game Pass. Masayoshi was prompted to comment on a similar decision by Baldur’s Gate 3’s developers of not bringing the entry to Xbox Game Pass. He commented, “I understand the reasoning behind their decision very well. I think each title has its own goals and befitting ways of being provided to users.” It seems like we won’t be seeing Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth on Game Pass at least until these goals are met.
The decision may have led to the dismay of a few fans who did not wish to spend over 70 dollars on the entry. However, some users after trying out Like a Dragon Gaiden on Xbox Game Pass got persuaded into buying the upcoming title in the franchise.
Almost all of the franchise’s titles are available on Game Pass; it’s possible that we may see Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth join in, too, in the near future. The entry will be released worldwide on January 26, 2024, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
