WolfEye Studios has recently unveiled its next project during the GDC event in San Francisco. The Arkane co-founder Raphael Colantonio revealed his second game in a tweet, with hints on the whiteboard suggesting that it’s a first-person “Retro Sci-fi RPG.” However, that is all we know about it so far. The studio was formed by Raphael and former Arkane executive producer Julien Roby in 2019.

The devs shared another image where they confirmed that the project was pitched at the conference. Also, the picture on the screen behind the duo appears to be a presentation prepared for the discussed project. It’s worth noting that the community reception has been lovely for the game. Many fans are already looking forward to what WolfEye Studios will eventually release.

WolfEye Studios Has A Lot To Prove With Its Next Project
The new studio—made up of former Arkane devs—is full of significant talent. However, it is relatively young and has only released a single project so far two years ago. Weird West, an isometric western RPG, saw a decent reception upon launch and received praise for making notable strides in the immersive sims genre. So, the fans are quite hopeful—especially when Colantonio and Roby co-created Dishonored and Prey back in the day.

All in all, we suggest taking the current pitch by the former Arkane devs with a grain of salt. The title barely appears to be in the skeletal stages and plans could shift entirely even before the development begins. We might learn more about the intriguing title in the near future.
