White Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller Images Leaked

Another iteration of the Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers is coming to stores very soon, and this one will be in white.

Microsoft originally launched Xbox Elite Series 2 controller back on November 9th, 2019. The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller had a lot going on with it, from having the shooter hair-trigger lock to giving you the freedom to adjust the tension in thumbsticks. And just recently, the upcoming white Xbox Elite Series 2 controller images have been leaked on Twitter.

Originally found by @JHoncho6712 and reshared by @IdleSloth84, the white variant of the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller builds on the previous Xbox Elite Series 2 controller but with a different aesthetic to it. Microsoft has always been known to create durable, lasting controllers, with longer battery life for both PC and Xbox. However, these controllers did come with their own issues, such as the bumpers becoming not registering button presses and some faulty joysticks. Hopefully, Microsoft has addressed these issues with this iteration of the controller.

The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller does not seem to fail on Microsoft’s legacy. In the leaked images, the controller seemingly has a black accent going through the holding area. The buttons are seemingly transparent and have the key mapping engraved inside the plastic buttons. It’s good that Xbox decided to go with the engraved key mapping as it helps the controller’s keys last a much longer duration of time. The rest of the things, including the D-pad, menu buttons, joysticks, and the mic seem like the typical Xbox Elite Series 2 controller.

The packaging of the white Xbox Elite Series 2 controller does not have anything special going on with it, as far as we could tell by the leaked images. We can expect the white Xbox Elite Series 2 controller to be compatible with the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. The Xbox Elite 2 controller was one of the most praised controllers on the internet, and amongst the PC users, it was heavily recommended. We hope that the new white variant will be able to deliver the same results amongst the players.
