GhostWire: Tokyo Boss Fight Leaked

One of the boss fights from Bethesda Softworks' upcoming action-adventure game, GhostWire: Tokyo, has recently been leaked.

Update: All the leaks mentioned in this article have been taken down by YouTube.

GhostWire: Tokyo is the upcoming game from the Tango Gameworks. The game is set to release on the 22nd of March 2022. In the recent State of Play event by PlayStation Studios, the game’s preview was unveiled. Just a few days back, the gameplay of GhostWire: Tokyo was revealed, but Bethesda made it clear that no one was allowed to reveal the game further than Chapter #3. However, just a few hours ago, a YouTube channel (that was also responsible for leaking the ending of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarök), BIGDADDYJENDE, leaked one of the boss fights from the game.

In a recent 7-minute video on YouYube, BIGDADDYJENDE has leaked the complete boss fight from GhostWire: Tokyo. The video was originally found by u/thisismew2king on Reddit, who posted it in r/GamingLeaksAndRumours. We will try to go over the boss fight briefly, without spoiling too much, but there are some spoilers ahead!

The GhostWire: Tokyo leaked boss fight video starts off with a cinematic in which the player encounters a masked enemy. After some dialogues, the area shifts and seemingly takes the player into a different place where the masked enemy changes into a monster. Here, the battle begins, and the player starts off the fight. In the top-right corner, we learn the name of the enemy where it says “Defeat Yaseotoko.”

After the fight, a cinematic starts where Yaseotoko defeats the player and escapes with a box that the player tries to get. The cinematic then moves on to the player’s memories and when it ends, the player has been ripped off from his powers. The boss fight in GhostWire: Tokyo is very generic, and the players on Reddit were not very happy about it either. “This game looks very generic,” commented one user. “It looks wildly mediocre imo,” commented another.

There could be heavy consequences for these leaks in the future, with the release of the games such as Starfield. However, that remains to be seen. For now, we will take the leaks to see what the upcoming game, GhostWire: Tokyo, is capable of.
