Outside of the extended Souls titles, including Sekiro and Bloodborne, this is one of FromSoftware’s most novel works, with near-perfection oozing out of every moment spent playing the shooter.

3. Tekken 8 

No other fighting game comes close to the icon that Tekken is as a franchise, and with the latest rendition in the franchise coming in hard, there’s really no reason you shouldn’t be getting this one. Tekken 8 has sold millions of copies already, featuring fan-favorite characters, better-than-ever visuals, and a new “Heat” mechanic that seemingly changes the fate of your battle outcomes.

4. Code Vein 

Bandai Namco’s Code Vein is a class apart, boasting impressive visuals, a polished combat system, and a balanced difficulty setting that’s neither too easy nor too difficult. 5. Katamari Damacy Reroll 

Katamari Damacy is an iconic classic, whose original release dates back to the era of the PlayStation 2. The “Reroll” edition is a re-release of the olden legend, remastered for a newer audience in 2018. It’s a roll-’em-up style title and is one of the most creative titles you’ll be picking up.

6. Sand Land 

Lastly, we’ve got Sand Land in the mix, coming straight from the legendary creator of the Dragon Ball franchise, the late Akira Toriyama. The game’s a breath of fresh air as compared to the rest of the arena fighters we usually get to play in the video game adaptation of animes, thanks to how Sand Land hits the nail on the head with the vehicular combat, its mesmerizing OST, and great art direction.
