The Elder Scrolls Online had a rocky beginning, with the game knotted with primitive features and a bug-ridden multiplayer. The land of Tamriel felt barren with the noticeable lack of content, and the game received backlash for failing to live up to expectations. The Elder Scrolls Online has matured well with the flow of time and is regarded as one of the prominent MMOs in recent years.
The game has all the classical MMORPG elements, from non-linear gameplay to a random string of never-ending quests to keep you invested. The creative events also keep the open-world experience fresh to traverse. The title has some very strong pros and cons but overall it is a worthwhile experience.
The game only appears to have grown with a plethora of expansions through the years with new players joining every day to explore the lands of Tamriel. The Elder Scrolls Online shows no signs of slowing down even though servers went live almost a decade ago. In fact, the title appears to have grown popular over the years.
The growing player base is reflected by the staggering stats that The Elder Scrolls boast. The Elder Scrolls Online hit 10 million players in November 2017 and the numerals have stockpiled over the years. Since then, ESO had massive growth sprouts in 2021 and this year appears to have followed the same route. The goliath MMO amassed 20 million users in January 2022 and the numbers appear to have expanded even more.
A million more players have joined to explore the dangerous lands of Tamriel, the game incorporates 21 million players exploring the compelling world of The Elder Scrolls Online. The Spanish Twitter handle for ESO has commemorated the event with a tweet of celebration.

The Spanish tweet roughly translates, “#TESOnline and its community continue to grow hand in hand day after day… and we couldn’t be more proud! We leave you with some notable numbers and data so far. We can only say THANK YOU.” Moreover, the image also features some alluring stats in Spanish.
The figures are only expected to grow as The Elder Scrolls Online adds more expansions and overhauls or enhances some of the lacking features like its unsatisfying combat. Although combat changes are on the horizon in the latest update 35, fans do not appear to be satisfied and it has resulted in controversy.
The community has also cited concerns about the class system. It could also use some rework as every class appears to be dependable on a few easily-spammable key abilities.
