EA Developing A Second Single-Player Marvel Title And More, Says Insider

This marvel title is rumored to be based on Iron Man, finally.

Electronic Arts is among the companies that have underestimated the power of single-player games. The goliath studio called single-player games “finished” long ago, which resulted in a lot of negative backlash from the community. The studio still feels the aftermath as the past incidents have left a negative aftertaste in the community.

Single-player titles have prospered over the years instead of seeing a decrease. EA recently joked about no one liking single-player games, which erupted another wave of criticism by the community. However, as cited by CEO Andrew Wilson, the company has begun to understand the importance of such a wide and beloved genre.

It is a surprising turn of events to see one of the most anti-single-player studios contributing toward the genre. The community has started to notice EA focusing more on single-player titles, some praising the attempts. Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is an excellent example of EA’s recent popular single-player game.

The popular industry insider Jeff Grubb of Giant Bomb recently disclosed information regarding a new single-player Black Panther open-world title which is in the skeletal stages of development at EA’s new Seattle studio. However, as he revealed in the latest live stream, EA is apparently working on multiple single-player games.

One of the titles is a second single-player Marvel title which is apparently in the works as well. Jeff elaborates in the short-clipped footage regarding the project, “they’re making another Marvel game that’s single player.”

Moreover, Jeff continues to elaborate on the other projects; he states, “they got mass effect, and there’s another- oh yeah, a single-player apex legend stylized shooter game that’s focused on mobility and stuff, so they’ve a lot in the works when it comes to single player stuff.” An Apex legends stylized single-player game based on octane-inducing action would be pretty intriguing.

Another prominent industry insider, Tom Henderson, has also hinted towards the title based on Iron Man, but he says to take it with a grain of salt. It remains to be seen what EA is working on exactly.

The fans are drooling over the thoughts of an official Iron Man game that utilizes the flying mechanics of Anthem. Unofficial Iron Man projects have proven the potential of a well-executed Iron Man game in the past; EA could take it to the next level.
