RDR2: Best Repeaters & How To Get [Top 2]
Here is my take on the top-tier Repeater guns, along with some tips!
Repeater is one of the best weapon types in RDR2, but it is hard to determine which one is the best. There are a total of four repeaters in RDR2, with one being a PC exclusive. As console players can’t have it, I won’t include them in the raking.

- Lancaster Repeater is the best repeater in RDR2.
- The Lancaster Repeater has good damage, range, accuracy, and ammo count, making it my best choice.
The Best Repeaters In Red Dead Redemption 2
The following is an overview of the best repeaters according to me in RDR2:

The best Repeater in RDR2, without any doubt, is Lancaster Repeater. I know some people would prefer Litchfield Repeater over it, but in my opinion, Lancaster is the best. The weapon has good damage, range, and ammo capacity, and it shines in combat. You can buy the weapon from the gunsmith after completing An American Pastoral Scene.
I have given it the best repeater reward due to it being the best choice in the early game. Not only that, but it is also the best choice in the mid and late game. The ammo capacity and range are what make it the best.
The following are the pros and cons of the weapon after using it for hours:
- It has a great firing rate and accuracy.
- The Ammo capacity of the weapon is 14.
- You won’t have to wait much to fire another shot as it has a fast lever action system.
- The damage and range aren’t bad at all.
- The firing and damage rate could be better.
2- Litchfield Repeater

If you are looking for a repeater with the best stats, then Litchfield is what you are looking for. It has the best well-rounded stats in Red Dead Redemption 2, but it also costs more. Without even upgrading, you will have fun with the weapon. Also, you will need to wait a lot more to unlock it as you will need to complete the Goodbye, Dead Friend first.
I have given it the best well-rounded weapon award as it has the most well-rounded stats. If it had a faster firing rate, I would have given it the top spot.
In my opinion, these are the pros and cons of the weapon:
- It has an ammo capacity of 16, which is more than that of Lancaster.
- It has great damage, range, and accuracy.
- Perfect weapon to hunt animals in RDR2.
- While the weapon excels in most parts, it has a slow firing rate, which I don’t like.
- You will have to wait till Chapter 6 to buy the weapon.
My Take On The Best Repeater
I think Lancaster Repeater is the best one in Red Dead Redemption 2, as it excels in almost all aspects.
Dealing with enemies in RDR2 isn’t that hard, but Lancaster makes it even more easy. The great firing rate and range make sure you can one-shot most enemies with precise aim. Also, the weapon can be bought early in-game, making it a great choice overall.
That is almost everything you would want to know about the best repeater in RDR2. While I think Lancaster is the best one, you can choose any other you like. I have chosen Lancaster based on my experience in RDR2 and the fact that it’s great.
