With 3000+ hours of experience, these are my favorite Warlock builds to use in the game.

Warlocks have been the epitome of builds in Destiny 2, to the extent that it is almost necessary to have them in your fireteam. There are many Destiny 2 best Warlock build that you can use in the current PvP/PvE meta however, I have selected a few that are easy to use and can benefit you in several activities.

Key Takeaways
  • Destiny 2 best Warlock builds are great for providing support and increasing damage output.
  • Their significance is maintaining class abilities, such as healing/empowering rifts and grenades.
  • The best Warlock build for the Arc sub-class will increase the duration of Chaos Reach.

1. Strand Build

The Best Ad Clear Build.

  • Why I Chose This: It provides great damage resistance against enemies and proper cooldown management is also good for clearing enemies.

This Warlock build uses the Strand sub-class for Warlock called the Broodweaver, and it is by far one of the most overpowered builds in the game. It utilizes an army of Threadlings as its primary arsenal damaging and destroying everything in its path. I highly recommend using this build in high-density activities.

  • Decent amount of damage resistance.
  • Threadlings are great for clearing groups of enemies.
  • Quick ability regenration.
  • Lacks boss damage potential.
  • Provides no utility for teammates.

Aspects

  • Weaver`s Call: Casting your rift deploys three threadlings.
  • Mindspun Invocation: Grenades have better functionality; Consuming grenades deploys more threadlings.

Fragments

  • Thread of Evolution: Increased Threadlings travel distance and damage.

  • Burst Glide: Jump while airborne to activate glide with a strong initial boost.
  • Arcane Needle: Throws a needle grenade that sticks to enemies.
  • Threading Grenade: The grenade turns into Threadlings that splits in-flight.

Exotics

  • Quicksilver Storm - Exotic Auto Rifle. (Image by eXputer).

You can use several exotic weapons with this build such as Monte Carlo. However, In my experience, this Warlock build is best paired with the Quicksilver Storm exotic auto-rifle and Swarmers exotic boots.

  • Quicksilver Storm: Landing multiple hits will turn your next shot into a micro-rocket.
  • Swarmers: Destroying a Tangle creates a Threadling which will Unravel the target they damage.
Important: The two exotics I have mentioned are only available if you own Lightfall expansion.

You can choose freely between stat mods and resist mods. However, here is a list of all the important mod combinations that I recommend you use with this best Warlock build:

This is probably one of the best Chaos Reach Arc builds in Destiny 2. It lets your spam abilities recharge your super at a much faster rate. This will help you clear hordes of enemies quickly. Furthermore, you can dish out decent boss damage by utilizing your Chas Reach super.

Exotics

In my experience, this build is best paired with the Coldheart exotic trace-rifle and Geomag Stabilizers exotic boots. You can also use other Arc weapons instead of Coldheart such as Riskrunner which will give you additional damage resistance. However, Coldheart is more suited for this build.

  • Coldheart - Exotic Trace Rifle. (Screenshot By eXputer).
  • Coldheart: Kills from will generate Ionic Traces, which will refill sub-class abilities.

3. Void Build

The Best Health Regeneration Build.

  • Why I Chose This: It provides you with a Weaken debuff and has massive health regeneration potential.

In my opinion, this build is one of the finest for the Void sub-class. It reaps several benefits such as increased duration of Devour buff, quicker super recharges, health regeneration, spamming your grenade, and Weaken debuff. Furthermore, you get your void buddy, Void Soul, that damages and debuffs enemies.

  • Briarbinds Exotic Arms: Enhance the effectiveness of your build; increase the duration and damage of your Void Souls.

How It Works

  1. Cast Rift: Immediately start by casting your rift to get Void Soul.
  2. Use Abilities: Next, when enemies are grouped, you should use your melee and grenade ability.
  3. Maintain Devour: This will grant you with Devour and start filling up your super.

  5. Use Heavy Weapon: Use your heavy weapon to finish off the boss enemy.
  6. Cast Super: Finally, use your super as required on enemies or bosses.

My Criteria For Destiny 2 Best Warlock Build

With every sandbox change brought to Destiny 2, the PvE and PvP meta changes greatly. Until and unless something game-breaking is found, these Warlock builds I have listed should do you good for the foreseeable future.

Among these three, the Void build is my way for most activities, especially because of the Devour ability, which regenerates health, and the Weaken debuff, which provides extra bits of damage potential for you and your teammates.

This brings my guide to an end. If you play on Titan and Hunter class as well, I would highly recommend you to check out my best Titan builds in Destiny 2 and the best builds in Destiny 2 for all three classes.

Finally, I would highly suggest you use D2 Armor Picker and Destiny Item Manager (DIM). These will help you pick and choose the right armor, Mods, Aspects, and Fragments, while also showing you the stats for each armor.
