Destiny 2 Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon: All Weapons [Stats & Perks]

Learn everything about the four new weapons of the Warlords Ruin Dungeon in Destiny 2, including the exotic sidearm.

In my Destiny 2 Warlords Ruin guide, I have included all four of the weapons introduced in this dungeon in the game’s Season of the Wish. These weapons have their own base stats, which can modified further by masterworking them or via switching up their perks. Lastly, there is also a special exotic weapon found through this dungeon called the Buried Bloodline, which can only drop from the Final Boss encounter.

Key Takeaways
  • The Warlord’s Ruin dungeon in Destiny 2 has a total of 4 different Legendary Weapons in its loot pool, along with an exotic weapon.
  • The Exotic weapon is the Buried Bloodline Sidearm, which has access to unique perks such as granting players the Devour effect on kills.
  • Each of the four weapons can be obtained through their respective encounter completions in the Warlord’s Ruin dungeon.
  • My favorite weapon is the Indebted Kindness Sidearm due to its fun new play style and diverse perk combinations.

1. Vengeful Whisper

  • Perk Column 4: Collective Action, Precision Instrument, Successful Warmup, Offhand Strike, Hatchling, High Ground.
  • Dropped from First and Second encounters.

If you’re a fan of bows like me, I’ve personally been looking forward to trying the Vengeful Whisper out ever since it was announced to be a Strand element bow before the Dungeon’s release in the data mined leaks.

While it has decent rolls, the one I’m looking forward to farming is between a combination of Explosive Head and Hatchling for my Warlock’s Strand subclass build or Archer’s Tempo and Precision Instrument for a balanced combo of dishing out DPS along with maintaining minimal Draw Time between shots.

2. Naeem’s Lance

  • Perk Column 3: Discord, Loose Change, Reconstruction, Keep Away, Hatchling.
  • Perk Column 4: High Ground, Deconstruct, Precision Instrument, Demolitionist, Slice, Attrition Orbs.
  • Dropped from the Second and Third encounters (Final Boss).

I’ve personally not been a fan of the fast-firing sniper rifle archetype in the game, so the Naeem’s Lance is a weapon of the Warlord’s Ruin that instantly made me ignore it, and I’d recommend the same for you to do as well. Furthermore, veteran players already know The Supremacy is a much better Sniper Rifle not just for PVP but for PVE, too, especially in sustained DPS for specific raid bosses.

3. Indebted Kindness

  • Perk Column 3: Impulse Amplifier, Offhand Strike, Lead from Gold, Beacon Rounds, Loose Change, Enlightened Action.
  • Perk Column 4: Voltshot, Adagio, Surrounded, Permeability, Deconstruct, Attrition Orbs.
  • Dropped from all encounters of the Warlord’s Ruin dungeon.

I imagine this weapon is going to become the popular choice for many players in the coming weeks, as the Indebted Kindness is the first new archetype of special ammo-based sidearms that allows you to shoot micro-rockets that deal splash damage on impact.

Now, while Sidearms aren’t technically the meta per se, I have to make a case here that this weapon is insanely fun to use in ritual and seasonal activities with Arc Subclcass builds, provided you get an optimal perk combination. If you ask me, I’m hoping to farm a roll combination of Impulse Amplifier to boost the velocity and reload speed along with Voltshot to cause Jolt to targets, which I think is a must-have perk.

Important: An alternative choice instead of the Impulse Amplifier perk is Beacon Rounds, which will grant the weapon Tracking Projectiles on successive final blows.

4. Dragoncult Sickle

Following are the stats of Dragoncult Sickle Strand Sword:

  • Perk Column 3: Tireless Blade, Assassin’s Blade, Demolitionist, Unrelenting, Duelist’s Trance, Slice.
  • Perk Column 4: Surrounded, Whirlwind Blade, Golden Tricorn, Chain Reaction, Hatchling, Attrition Orbs.
  • Dropped from the First and Final Boss encounters.

The Dragoncult Sickle is a fitting Strand element Sword in this latest season, which has some decent perks to make it an applicable weapon worth farming. In terms of the best perk combination or Godroll, I recommend getting a combination of Unrelenting or Tireless Blade with Surrounded.

However, despite it being decent, I’ll still prefer my crafted Bequest from the Deep Stone Crypt with enhanced versions of Surrounded and Relentless Strikes, which is superior to this sword, in my opinion.

Exotic Weapon – Buried Bloodline

  • Hungering Quarrel: Double fires tracking bolts that, when landed, leech health from the target.
  • Violent Reanimation: Rapid final blows with this weapon grant Devour to the wielder.
  • Exotic Catalyst Effect: While Devour is active, this weapon weakens on hit.
Important: According to a YouTube video from Skarrow9, to unlock the exotic catalyst from the Dungeon’s secret puzzle, you need to have completed the In the “Shadow of the Mountain” quest along with having the exotic itself via the random drop reward.

While the weapon is definitely one of the most unique exotic weapons I’ve seen so far, its performance in both PVP and PVE is a mixed bag at the moment. My friend and clanmate had managed to get it on our first run of the Dungeon, and in the PVP tests, you’re much better off using Forerunner due to its superior viability.

For PVE, while the Devour perk being granted to you for free without the need of a Void subclass sounds useful on paper, I’d rather not waste an exotic slot for this in endgame content. But aside from that, it is still a fun weapon to use every now and then in other activities.

Are These Weapons Worth It?

Overall, as someone who’s invested almost 3000+ hours into the game and is still keeping up with it, I recommend you take your time to try grinding for the Idebted Kindness sidearm due to its strong perk pool along with the fact that its rocket shots are extremely satisfying in PVE. Unfortunately, the other Destiny 2 Warlords Ruin weapons fail to impress me due to other weapons in the economy outclassing them.
