You can also use the Umbral Engram system introduced in the Season of the Chosen to target specific weapon types and increase your chances of getting the Cataclysmic. To get the “god roll” version of the Cataclysmic, which has the best possible perks, you’ll need to farm it repeatedly and hope for lucky drops.

The ideal perks for the Cataclysmic include:

• Chambered Compensator or Extended Barrel for improved stability and recoil control
• Liquid Coils or Projection Fuse for increased damage

• The weapon can also be crafted at the Enclave with the perks of your choice if you have acquired five patterns for it from the raid.

The Hothead
