Genshin Impact: The BEST Dendro Teams [Top 2]

I invested 2000+ hours and here are my recommendations for the best Dendro teams for combat accuracy!

Genshin Impact released Sumeru with the Dendro element, further expanding the possibilities for team compositions. Players might want to know the best Dendro Teams to try in Genshin Impact and the best artifacts for your characters and weapons to accompany them!

Important: Dendro teams rely on excellent team and elemental synergy and require near-perfect reactions to shine.
Key Takeaways
  • The Best Dendro teams in Genshin Impact feature teams that can utilize the Bloom, Hyperbloom, Quicken, Spread, and Aggravate reactions.
  • The main advantage of using Dendro teams is that Hyperbloom and Bloom’s reactions are brutal when damaging enemies.
  • One disadvantage is that Dendro teams require considerable Elemental Mastery and Energy Recahrge to work well.
  • Players must significantly farm the best artifacts and build the best weapons for their teams.

Genshin Impact Best Dendro Teams

Below listed is a summarized version of the Best Dendro Teams in Genshin Impact:

1. Dendro MC Bloom Composition

Best Early-game Dendro Bloom Teams.

Firstly, one of the best Dendro compositions in Genshin Impact comprised free characters in Genshin such as Dendro Traveler, Nahida, Nilou, and Kokomi, as can be seen below:

  • Dendro Traveler: They can serve as the primary support.
  • Nilou: She can act as the main DPS of the group.
  • Nahida: Targets enemies with her Elemental skill.
  • Kokomi: Healer.
  • Why I chose this team: Dendro MC can apply Dendro excellently and Nilou can target Bloom reactions.

After playing with Dendro teams for a few months, below listed are the pros and cons in my opinion:

  • Dendro Traveler can be an excellent support for Nahida and Nilou.
  • Kokomi can provide team-wide heals.
  • Kokomi needs a specific artifact set to work properly.

Dendro MC

The Dendro MC provides excellent damage by reacting with Hydro element in teams and can keep Blooming to cast down Bloom cores that explode and detonate enemies. Dendro MC is one of the most broken characters to date to use in Dendro teams.

The best weapon for Dendro MC is the Freedom Sworn or Iron Sting, and the best artifacts, such as Deepwood Memories, are listed as follows:

Pieces Stats Why Choose It
Flower  HP (4780) Pre-determined
Feather  Flat ATK (311) Pre-determined.
Hourglass  Energy Recharge (51.8%) I needed to charge Burst.
Goblet  Dendro Damage (46.6%) Needed to enhance the Dendro damage output.
Circlet  Crit Damage/ Crit Rate (31.1/62.2%) Required to balance out the critical hits.
Substats  Crit Damage/ Crit Rate/ Energy Recharge/ ATK%
  • Crit Damage/Crit Rate: Needed to enhance total damage output.
  • Energy Recharge: Required to cast Elemental Burst
  • ATK%: This substat is crucial if a higher damage number is required.

Nilou

As far as Nilou is concerned for the Genshin Impact Dendro Teams, she serves as Hydro main DPS, unleashing Hydro damage with her Elemental skill as well as her Elemental Burst, and procs with Dendro to release Bloom cores.

Her best weapon is the Key of Khaj-Nisut or the Iron Sting, and she can use 2 Tenacity and 2 Heart of Depth artifacts, as seen below:

Pieces Stats Why Choose It
Flower  HP% (4780) Pre-determined
Feather  Flat ATK (311) Pre-determined.
Hourglass  HP% (46.6%) Her damage output is based on her total HP.

Substats  Crit Damage/ Crit Rate/ Energy Recharge/ HP%
  • Crit Damage/Crit Rate: Needed to enhance total damage output.
  • Energy Recharge: Required to cast Elemental Burst
  • HP%: Required to unleash higher Hydro damage.

Nahida

Nahida In Teams
Nahida In Teams (Image By Me)

Regarding Nahida, she is the Dendro archon, serving as a sub-DPS unit and a Bloom, catalyzed using her Elemental Skill to target opponents with Dendro in her teams.

Her best weapon is A Thousand Floating Dreams or the Solar Pearl, and she uses the 4 piece Deepwood Memories with the best sub stats listed below:

Pieces Stats Why Choose It
Flower  HP% (4780) Pre-determined
Feather  Flat ATK (311) Pre-determined.
Hourglass  Elemental Mastery (186.5)  Needed to enhance elemental reactions.
Goblet  Elemental Mastery (186.5)  Required to increase reaction damage caused by Dendro and Hydro.

Substats  Crit Damage/ Crit Rate/ Energy Recharge/ EM
  • Crit Damage/Crit Rate: Needed to enhance total damage output.
  • Energy Recharge: Required to cast Elemental Burst
  • EM: Needed to further elemental reactions.

Kokomi

Lastly, Kokomi is an excellent Hydro healer and support as she can react with Nahida’s targetted enemies to cause Bloom reactions in the Genshin Impact Teams.

She will use the Everlasting Moonglow or the Sacrificial Fragments and the 4-piece Ocean Hued Clam, with the substations as follows:

Pieces Stats Why Choose It
Flower  HP% (4780)  Pre-determined
Feather  Flat ATK (311)  Pre-determined.
Hourglass  HP%  (46.6%)  She needed to increase her max HP.

Circlet  Healing Bonus (35.9%) Needed to provide more healing to the team.
Substats  HP%/ Flat HP
  • HP%: Needed to increase the healing output.

2. Hyperbloom Team

Best Sumeru Hyperbloom Composition.

Next up, a Hyperbloom Dendro team in Genshin Impact that I play mainly comprises characters like Kokomi, Raiden/Yae Miko, Collei, and Dendro MC and focuses on reactions between Electro, Hydro, and Dendro.

The roles of each of the characters in the team are as follows:

  • Kokomi: Main DPS and the Healer.
  • Raiden/ Yae Miko: Sub-DPS.
  • Collei: An excellent support/ Sub-DPS.
  • Dendro MC: Support
  • Why I chose this team: Hyperbloom can be triggered using Raiden or Yae Miko’s Totems.

The pros and cons for the Hyperbloom team are as follows in my experience:

  • Raiden can annihilate enemies with her Burst.
  • Kokomi can provide heals to everyone.
  • Raiden is not available on the Standard banner.

Kokomi

Next up, Kokomi acts as an integral healer and main DPS in the Best Teams in Genshin Impact by casting out Hydro Jellyfish to deal higher damage using her Burst.

She uses the Everlasting Moonglow or the Sacrificial Fragments and the 4-piece Ocean-Hued Clam set as seen below:

Pieces Stats Why Choose It
Flower  HP% (4780) Pre-determined
Feather  Flat ATK (311)  Pre-determined.
Hourglass  HP% (46.6)  Needed to increase her max HP.
Goblet  HP% (46.6%)  Required to enhance her healing output.
Circlet  Healing Bonus (35.9%) Needed to provide more healing to the team.
Substats  HP%/ Flat HP
  • HP%: Needed to increase the healing output.
  • Flat HP: Counts towards her max HP.

Raiden/ Yae Miko

Raiden
Raiden (Image Taken By Me)

Raiden can serve as an excellent sub-DPS, allowing Electro-charged reactions to take place in the Dendro teams, and can also unleash high damage using her Elemental Burst.

She can either use the 4 Emblem set, or 2 Thundering Fury and 2 Wanderer’s Troupe with the Dragon Bane or the Engulfing Lightning as her weapon:

Pieces Stats Why Choose It
Flower  HP% (4780)  Pre-determined
Feather  Flat ATK (311)  Pre-determined.
Hourglass  EM/ ATK%/ ER% (186.5/46.6%/51.8%) EM is needed to support Raiden, while ATK% can be used for a sub-DPS build.
Goblet  EM/ Electro Damage Bonus (186.5/46.6%) Electro Damage Bonus is used to enhance the electro-damage output.
Circlet  EM/ Crit Damage/ Crit Rate (186.5/62.2/31.1) Crit Stats come in handy to increase total damage output/
Substats  EM/ Crit Damage/ Crit Rate/ ATK%
  • Crit Damage/Crit Rate: Needed to enhance total damage output.
  • Energy Recharge: Required to cast Elemental Burst
  • EM: Needed to further elemental reactions such as Electro-Charged.

Collei

Collei
Collei (Image Screenshotted By Me)

To use Collei in the Genshin Dendro teams can be a good sub-DPS or support character as she can react with Hydro to cause Bloom reactions.

She can make use of the 4 pieces Gilded Dreams set and the Favonius Warbrow, as can be seen, listed below:

Pieces Stats Why Choose It
Flower  HP% (4780)  Pre-determined
Feather  Flat ATK (311)  Pre-determined.
Hourglass  ATK% (46.6%) ATK% is required to enhance the total damage output.
Goblet  Dendro Damage Bonus (46.6%) It can boost the Dendro core damage and general damage output, too.
Circlet  EM/ Crit Damage/ Crit Rate (186.5/62.2/31.1) Crit Stats come in handy to increase Dendro Damage, while EM can help boost Dendro core damage.
Substats  EM/ Crit Damage/ Crit Rate/ ATK%
  • Crit Damage/Crit Rate: Needed to enhance total damage output.
  • Energy Recharge: Required to charge Elemental Burst
  • EM: Needed to further elemental reactions such as Bloom.

Dendro MC

Lastly, the Dendro MC is the perfect pairing as a Dendro support that helps cast Dendro cores by reacting with Hydro and using their Elemental Burst or Skill.

The artifacts for the best teams in Genshin Impact with Dendro MC is the Emblem of Severed Fate with the Favonius Sword:

Pieces Stats Why Choose It
Flower  HP% (4780) Pre-determined
Feather  Flat ATK (311) Pre-determined.
