Sophia is a non-playable character in Lies of P. The player has two choices regarding Sophia in Lies of P. He can either let her be killed or save her. Thus, Sophia’s fate is in the hands of the player, and he has to decide it during Lies of P’s ending.

Give Her Peace
It is the option where you let go of her, and the cutscene will show her disappear right before you. Even then, she entrusts her Ergo to you, which means your XP in Lies of P will increase. You reach for her Ergo and grab it, and then she disappears. She also thanks you before disappearing. It leads you on the path where you must decide whether to give your heart to Geppetto.
The choice could lead you to the “Real Boy: They All Lived Happily Ever After” ending.
Let Her Live
Should you choose to let her live, she will continue to give you her Ergo and help you; however, there will be no cutscene this time.
The choice leads you to a regular ending since she will still suffer.
My Opinion
Keeping all of this in mind, I recommend the “Give Her Peace” choice as it’s not only morally correct but also leads to a good ending. Sophia is with the player through thick and thin, and it’s the least she deserves. However, the ending also depends on if you give your heart to Gepetto or not.
