Prince of Persia Lost Crown: How To Upgrade Weapons

To upgrade Weapons in Prince of Persia Lost Crown, you need to visit Kaheva's Forge that unlocks after reaching certain point in the story.

You start with the dual blades in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown and work your way to getting the Chakram and Bow & Arrow by making story progression. This is the arsenal you get in the game, and by all means, it gets underwhelming during the boss fights if you do not upgrade Sargon’s weapons. The game does not automatically tell you how to enhance the damage of your weapons. That is why I have curated this guide and discussed how to upgrade all of Sargon’s weapons in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown.

Key Takeaways
  • You can make boss fights easier by upgrading Sargon’s weapons in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown.
  • Go to Kaheva’s Forge to upgrade weapons.
  • Look for the “Upgrades” menu and use Time Crystals for the first few upgrades.
  • Focus on improving Sargon’s melee weapons, especially the dual blades, for better battles against enemies and bosses.
  • You will unlock Kaheva’s Forge after getting Menolias’ Bow and reaching a certain point in the game or progressing in the story.
  • Find Kaheva’s Forge in The Haven, as it opens up after you hit a specific milestone in the game.

In order to upgrade weapons in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown, you need to visit Kaheva’s Forge and navigate to the “Upgrades” section of the menu.

All three of Sargon’s weapons can be upgraded from this menu. Most of the early upgrades will cost you Time Crystals, and the sum could be much higher or lower depending on the weapon you upgrade.

Important: I highly recommend you upgrade Sargon’s Melee weapons first, as the dual blades are your go-to weapon type when it comes to taking down enemies or beating bosses in Prince of Persian The Lost Crown.

When Does Kaheva’s Forge Unlock

Kaheva’s Forge is not readily available from the game’s start to upgrade Sargon’s weapons. Instead, you need to reach a certain point in the game or make story progression till you get all of the weapons the game has in store for you.

You basically need to get Menolias’ Bow, the only missing weapon that you do not get at the game’s start, and once you have this, Kahve’s Forge becomes accessible.

Where Is The Forge

The Haven is the first big section of Prince of Persia The Lost Crown, where you encounter Artaban, Mage, and her daughter. Each of these three NPCs has certain uses in the game, and all of these are found at The Haven.

The platforms that lead you to Artaban, a mystical golden or bright yellow door appears there if you have acquired all of your weapons. Go through this, and you will reach Kaheva’s Forge to upgrade weapons in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown.

My Thoughts

The upgrade mechanic in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown is useful, and I, for one, always keep an eye on all of the weapon upgrade requirements. Whenever I have the required Time Crystals or Azure Damascus Ingot currency, visiting Kaheva’s Forge becomes a necessary stop in the game.

That is pretty much everything you need to know about how to upgrade weapons in Prince of Persia Lost Crown. If you find this guide useful, then I suggest you also check Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Best Amulets, and how to get more healing potions in the game.
