My tier list below will focus on solo and multiplayer weapons. I am going to list the weapons in five different tiers. I will also list the advantages and disadvantages of each weapon to further help you out.

These are the most powerful weapons in Monster Hunter World. There isn’t any weapon better than them.

Disadvantages	Slow speed.

Long Sword (Solo)

Advantages	Good damage with each hit. Good defensive options.
Disadvantages	Attacks must be accurate for them to deal the most damage.

Advantages	Amazing damage output. Great range.

Hunting Horn (Multiplayer)

Advantages	Can heal teammates. Can provide them with different buffs.

A-Tier

A-tier weapons in my tier list are extremely powerful and can help you take down powerful monsters quickly.

Charge Blade (Solo)

Advantages	Offers two different forms. Sword form comes with a shield. Does a lot of damage in burst mode.
Disadvantages	Few defensive options. Axe form is a bit difficult to learn and master.

Advantages	Good attack and defense options. Helps you support the entire party. Offers different effects.
Disadvantages	Poor damage output.
