Ubisoft also announced they would conduct a Technical Test in November for the console release. Anyone can apply for the Tech Test, but they will have to sign an NDA and will be required to have a Playstation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.

The game is currently only available to play on PC. You can buy the game from Origin, Ubisoft Store, or Epic Games Store. Anno 1800 was also available on Steam in the past. But, it was delisted from Steam Store soon after the release.
Steam users, who bought the game before it got delisted from the Steam Store, will still be able to access and purchase the upcoming DLCs and Season Passes.
Anno 1800 was released on PC in April 2019. The game is currently at Season Pass 4, which brought three more DLCs to the game and a gameplay update earlier this year.
The console release and Technical Test announcements were made through a Union Update on Anno Union’s official site. The Union Update also stated that Anno 1503 would be celebrating its 20th anniversary soon in the coming weeks.
The Union Update also included several screenshots from the players under the Community Spotlight section.
Anno 1800 has been a very successful title for Ubisoft on PC. And the console release will expand its horizon and increase the player base. While a console release is in sight, it will still take a long time before the official console edition is released.
The Union Update announced they will reveal more information about the Anno 1800 Console Edition in early 2023.
