It’s a single line inside a broader leak story rather than a dedicated scoop, but it’s the most specific runtime figure any outlet has published so far. Neither Rockstar nor Netflix has confirmed it directly, so treat it as a credible report rather than a locked fact for now.

Why The Number Has Been Hard To Pin Down

Other runtime claims have circulated for weeks with no consistency. A Netflix support chat previously quoted “approximately 20 minutes,” while a Netflix app timestamp briefly showed 30 minutes and 6 seconds before disappearing, likely a placeholder.

A separate graphic from Netflix Portugal suggested a combined runtime past 66 minutes, hinting at a possible multi-episode format that neither company has mentioned. The BBC’s 30-minute figure lands closest to that app timestamp and comes from a more reliable outlet than the others, making it the strongest number available right now.

It also matters given how much footage has already leaked. Cyberleek has published clips totaling over 12 minutes of unofficial GTA 6 gameplay this week alone, so a 30-minute runtime would give Rockstar real room to show material beyond what’s already circulating.
