Faheem Rashad Najam, known as T-Pain, confirmed his participation in the upcoming sequel, addressing why he is no longer a part of GTA 5 Roleplay. In a clip from his recent live stream circulating online, a fan asked why he doesn’t seem to be appearing on the roleplaying GTA 5 server called No Pixel, to which he said:

I used to be on No Pixel RP, and then I started working on GTA 6, and they told me I couldn’t do RP anymore because it kind of goes against (the game). They had this whole speech, like, you know, what if somebody took your album and rerecorded it, and more people were listening to that? Then I’m like, okay, I kind of get that, but I was having a good time.”

He also mentioned that Rockstar Games teamed up with people who did RP, which is a bit ironic. T-Pain was referring to the modding team Cfx.re, which was behind the biggest GTA 5 roleplay servers, including RedM and FiveM. It seems that roleplay might have a huge role in GTA 6’s gameplay. Nevertheless, fans are extremely delighted to have T-Pain in Rockstar’s latest venture, with many of them hoping he would take the role of radio host alongside Snoop Dogg

According to the trailer, Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to come out sometime during 2025 for consoles, including PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X|S. On another note, you can check out our video below to see some features we expect to see in the upcoming sequel.
