ARC Raiders Reportedly Pushed To A 2023 Release
Another promising game pushed out of 2022 threshold.
ARC Raiders is the upcoming PvE third-person shooter set in a futuristic version of the earth or a whole other planet. The exhilarating title is being crafted by Embark Studios, consisting of former EA and DICE developers and executives.
The sci-fi third-person shooter pits you against AI robots descending from the skies. The enemies range from small drones to large monstrosities. ARC Raiders features an intriguing story where you are a raider chosen to fight and retaliate against enemies falling from the skies.
The title also incorporates tools for easy traversal like a jetpack and bulky weapons like a grenade launcher. ARC Raiders will also include collectible loot and the game’s physics system can also be utilized at players’ will. The free-to-play cooperative action-shooter is highly anticipated by the community.
ARC Raiders first made its debut at THE GAME AWARDS 2021 and instantly clicked with many of the viewers. However, some of the community had shown concern stating that the title looked rough around the edges. The title was first planned for a 2022 release but the developers have decided to push the release date to next year.
ARC Raiders has been delayed to 2023. The decision was announced by Embark Studios on its Twitter handle. The tweet cites, “ARC Raiders is an ambitious game, and we will be using this extra time to expand the experience, and allow it to reach its fullest potential.” Moreover, the tweet continues, “We will be diving into more details as soon as we start to test the game more extensively with players.”

Furthermore, the developers also expressed their gratitude, “The excitement around ARC Raiders since its reveal has been so encouraging for us, and we truly appreciate your support.” The community has mostly reacted positively concerning the delay, and the title could use more time to be polished to perfection.
Some games are released ahead of time when they are not nicely brewed and we have seen the disastrous aftermath, Sonic Origins collection is a good example. Hopefully, ARC Raiders will shape up to be an amazing experience with this extra time.
