Guilty Gear -Strive- Surpasses 1 Million Units Shipped

The popular fighting game exceeds an impressive 1 million units shipped.

Arc System Works is renowned for making amazing and faithful adaptations of popular fighting games. The best of these titles was the extremely faithful Dragon Ball FighterZ, and the beautiful and extremely rich Guilty Gear -Strive- which was released not too long ago.

Recently in EVO 2022, many details and reveals were made for many titles, but the spotlight has to go to Arc System Works for the amazing reveals it did. First of all, the team decided to add rollback net code to Dragon Ball FighterZ, a feature the community wanted for the longest time.

However, this was not the only reveal done in their amazing showcase. Bridget, the newest expansion addition to Guilty Gear -Strive- was given a release date, as of today. Needless to say, the players were amazed and extremely hyped by the events that had occurred at the company’s showcase.

One would think that this stroke of good fortune was likely to run out, but that is when Arc System Works revealed that Guilty Gear -Strive- had reached a new grand milestone. The title has shipped over 1 million units worldwide and is not slowing down any time soon, coupled with another great fact that this is actually the first game that Arc System Works made which sold over 1 million copies.

The team had a special announcement to make regarding this milestone, “Arc System Works is incredibly proud to confirm that Guilty Gear Strive has surpassed 1 million units shipped worldwide (in packaged and download), making it the first title sold by Arc System Works and first in the series to reach this milestone.”

Everything that the company has achieved since the release of these games shows that the care and effort that went into making these games was immense, to say the least, and with new expansion characters yet to be released, and the hope for a sequel to Dragon Ball FighterZ, the team has a lot of success and work to look out for.
