Story Highlights
- Baldur’s Gate 3 has been a monumentally successful game by indie developer Larian Studios.
- The title, being crowned 2023’s Game of the Year, has received a discount on the PS Store.
- As opposed to its $69.99 MSRP, you can purchase the game for $62.99 at the moment.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is Larian Studios’ 2023 masterpiece, having just won the Game of the Year award at TGA this year, among other distinctions. If you’ve still been holding out on purchasing the title on your PlayStation console, now could be your time to pull the trigger. The official PlayStation Store has discounted the D&D-based RPG by 10%, reducing its price to $62.99 instead of the full $70 price tag.
As you can comprehend from the listing on the storefront, this deal isn’t sticking around forever, so if you’d like to save a quick buck while purchasing what is arguably one of the best games ever made, you’ve got until January 6, 2024, to pull the trigger. That said, this probably isn’t the last time Baldur’s Gate 3 is going on sale; it’s sure to have more of these and better ones, should I say, by next year on different occasions.
But, of course, if you can’t wait any further, let this current promotional pricing serve as an excuse for you to dive right into the world of Baldur’s Gate 3. In case you’d like to go all out, the Digital Deluxe Edition awaits your stride as well, costing about $80 on the PlayStation Store but coming in with a truckload of content as well. Here’s a rundown of what you can expect from this edition of the RPG:
- Baldur’s Gate 3 Base Game
- Divinity Bard Song Pack
- Exclusive Dice Theme
- Treasures from Rivellon Pack
- Adventurer’s Pouch
- Bonus Digital Content
For those not in the know, Baldur’s Gate 3 got treated to a physical release as well in November last month, but the hard copies haven’t started shipping out yet. Larian Studios made sure to kick things off with a bang here, releasing what it proudly denotes as the Physical Deluxe Edition. It’s a real doozy this one, comprising a swath of physical goodies and an array of installable DVDs for the console versions.
