Blizzard Entertainment Supposedly Working On Unannounced FPS Project

Blizzard Entertainment supposedly has an unannounced FPS project under development, suggests an employee's LinkedIn profile.

Blizzard Entertainment has become a household name in the gaming industry in the past few years. From World of Warcraft to Overwatch, the company has made many cult classics for players. Everyone looks out for the studio’s new projects, seeing its huge size and reputation. Overwatch 2 is certainly the most awaited game from the publisher, alongside Diablo IV. However, a recent update on an employee’s LinkedIn profile suggests that another FPS game might be on the way from Blizzard Entertainment.

Recent information from the Lead Game Designer at Blizzard Entertainment, Kristopher Howl’s LinkedIn page tells us that the company is working on an FPS PvP project. This game is not official and remains unannounced as of now, according to the experiences on the employee’s profile. Furthermore, the project has been in the works for more than 3 years. Kristopher Howl has worked on many different aspects of the game during this time. From combat to level designing, the employee has developed many things for this project.

Not much else is present in this small paragraph about the upcoming game, however. Blizzard Entertainment did recently announce an upcoming survival game. So, this project could very well be that survival game for all we know. However, the odds of a survival game having FPS and PvP based elements are very slim. Some players have guessed that this could be a competitor to Apex Legends or an Overwatch port for mobile. However, all of this is speculation at the moment and we know nothing much about this project. Three years is a good enough duration for the development of any game. Hopefully, we will hear something from Blizzard Entertainment about this unannounced FPS game soon.
