In a recent GTA 5 database leak, fans have discovered a reference to Bully 2, alongside many other titles, including Red Dead Redemption 2. However, it is not fully clear what this reference signifies. A Twitter/X user, @billsyliamgta, shared an image of a code from the leaked GTA 5 file. The code also mentions GTA 4 and MC4, which could be Midnight Club Los Angeles, all of which are developed by Rockstar Games.

It is currently unclear how old the leaked GTA 5 database file is. Rockstar Games have suffered multiple leaks in the past. Last year, parts of GTA 5’s source code were allegedly leaked alongside multiple GTA 6 footages from the game’s early development stage.

Bully was released in 2006 to critical acclaim. Despite the title’s massive popularity, Bully 2 never became a reality. GTA 5 was launched in 2013 and is still a popular game globally. The leaked code also mentions Red Dead Redemption 2, which came out in October 2018. In August 2023, an ex-employee of Rockstar Games revealed that Bully 2 and 3 were planned at one point but were later canceled.
We might not be getting Bully 2 anytime soon, but Rockstar Games has announced that the first trailer of GTA 6 is dropping in early December, which also marks the studio’s 25th anniversary. The sequel comes nearly a decade after GTA 5 and will likely exceed expectations set by its predecessor.
