That’s No Moon Has Yet To Launch Its First Game

Founded in 2021, That’s No Moon is a Los Angeles-based studio staffed by developers with experience at major companies such as Naughty Dog, Santa Monica Studio, Infinity Ward, and Electronic Arts.
The studio revealed its first AAA offering, a narrative-driven, single-player title called Crossfire, at Summer Game Fest 2026, centered on two members of opposing factions, Layla Qassem and Delroy Cross, forced into a temporary alliance against a common enemy.
No official figures have been provided for the number of employees affected, and there is no confirmed release window for That’s No Moon’s game. Without a statement from the developer, it would be premature to assume the layoffs signal a cancellation or major reboot.
Crossfire is currently in development for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
