Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.1 Is Coming On December 5

Cyberpunk 2077 will receive update 2.1 on December 5. CD Projekt Red is also launching Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on the same day. More details regarding the update 2.1 will be discussed during an upcoming livestream on December 1, 4 PM CET. The update is set to bring new and highly anticipated gameplay changes to the world of Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Projekt Red announced on Cyberpunk 2077’s official Twitter/X account that an upcoming livestream on Twitch will discuss the upcoming changes in update 2.1. The livestream will feature @AlicjaKozera and @Lilayaah, the senior community managers of CD Projekt Red, alongside @PaweSasko, the quest director, and @AyanoSaur, the game’s producer, as guests.

Cyberpunk 2077 received its last major update, 2.0, on September 21, right before the highly anticipated DLC “Phantom Liberty” dropped on September 26. The game continued to receive minor patches after the update 2.0, which brought many positive changes to the game.

CD Projekt Red released Cyberpunk 2077 in December 2020, after almost a decade of hype as the game was initially announced in May 2022. The game received many negative reviews right after its launch due to a plethora of bugs and glitches. However, with the time and dedication of the developers, Cyberpunk 2077 was able to bring itself back on its feet.

The game recently received the DLC titled Phantom Liberty, which was well-received by fans all over the globe. eXputer has rated Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty 4.5 out of 5, praising the DLC’s engaging storyline and character performances, alongside the improvements brought by update 2.0.
