Diablo 4 Patch 1.2.1 Fixes More Bugs & Raises Potent Blood Drop

A comprehensive amount of bug fixes follows the drop amount adjustments.

Blizzard has rolled out the first major update for Diablo 4 following Season 2, raising the amount of potent blood earned from Blood Wells. According to the patch notes, players received one pile from the Wells that resulted in 45-60 Potent Blood. With the new adjustments, these Wells will now drop eight piles of 5-9 each. Aside from the increase, the patch also aims to address various bugs.

An issue where progress in Halls of the Damned could be reset from leaving the area during the Travel to the Sepulchrum objective has been addressed as v1.2.1 of Diablo 4. Furthermore, the incorrect appearances of doors in Whispering Pines and the lack of rewards in the Waves of Darkness event have been resolved.

Patch 1.2.1 also implements some resolutions in the gameplay department. The issue where Shrine Buffs would not apply when activated while mounted has been fixed. Additionally, a bug that caused Temerity to only apply its Overheal barrier at full health instead of including excess healing has been ironed out. The Sorcerer’s Ice Shards skill will also no longer miss short targets when cast from an area of higher elevation.

Aside from the aforementioned fixes and adjustments, several issues related to the User Interface and User experience have been taken of as well. Problems such as several towns missing a stash icon in their waypoint tooltip, inventory sorting malfunctioning when interacting with vendors or crafters, killing a monster with Metamorphosis not rewarding a soul stack, and more were alleviated.
