Capcom has unveiled the next vocation for Dragon’s Dogma 2—The Archer. Combined with the shooting gameplay, it’s also capable of engaging in melee combat with what appears to be an impact kick move.

Furthermore, the latest class in the game can augment its arrows with certain aspects or elements. As seen in the showcase, some effects have special properties such as stunning the enemy and knocking them down. Additionally, The Archer also has a form of an ultimate attack which you can see towards the end of the preview.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is one of the year’s most anticipated games, being the sequel to a title that launched over a decade ago. Hideaki Itsuno has previously expressed that he wanted to make the second entry right after the prequel’s launch but some factors prevented him from doing so.
