Over 60 Percent of Elden Ring Steam Players Will Not Be Able To Play The DLC

Still a respectable figure of players who can play, if you ask me.

Story Highlights

  • New stats reveal that over 60% of Elden Ring Steam players cannot access the DLC when it comes.
  • The huge restriction is because many users have still yet to defeat the optional boss Mohg.
  • On the flip side, 54% of Xbox and 65% of PlayStation players can play the DLC.

With Elden Ring only recently selling over 25 million copies worldwide, most of the community is in a happy mood. However, one tidbit pointed out by the popular Twitch streamer CohhCarnage on Twitter suggests that over 60% of current Steam players will not even be able to play the DLC. Players need to get the “Shardbearer Mohg” achievement for access, but only 37.8% of the Steam community has earned it.

The achievement can be earned by defeating the optional Elden Ring boss Mohg, Lord of Blood. The remaining players only have a little over a week to deal with the game’s two optional bosses, Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, to play the DLC. On the flip side, 54% of Xbox and 65% of PlayStation players have earned the Shardbearer Mohg trophy, per tracking sites like TrueTrophies and TrueAchievements.

Some Elden Ring Players Think It’s A High Enough Figure

Some Elden Ring players are looking at the brighter side of things by congratulating the lucky groups who can play the DLC because of meeting the requirements. These are arguably still respectable percentages when you consider how many players have beaten an optional boss that far into the game.
