Forza Motorsport Gets A Roaring New Trailer With Official Release Date

The Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct Double Feature has brought forth an array of enticing AAA titles to the big screen, with one of them being Forza Motorsport. This seeming reboot of the world-famous Forza franchise will be racing to shelves come 10 October 2023, as exclusively reported by eXputer prior to the event. Alongside the launch day reveal, a new trailer, showcasing its in-game footage, has surfaced as well. 

Apparently, what we have here looks like a bang-up job by the developers at Turn 10 Studios, but the hard and fast of it will be, of course, out in the open on launch day. For now, though, rev your engines for what is otherwise all geared up to feature 500+ vehicles, life-like tracks, and an AI system that’s more advanced than ever before. Forza is one of Xbox’s most dedicated video game series, and at this point, it just shows.

As a matter of fact, Turn 10 Studio’s Creative Director Chris Esaki addressed the audience during the Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct earlier this year that the studio has been hard at work in crafting Forza Motorsport from the ground up, thereby making the title live up to its rebooted moniker. It has been proudly iterated, “[Forza Motorsport] is technically the most advanced racing game ever made.” 

Following the announcement of Forza Motorsport during the Xbox Games Showcase, pre-orders for the title have also gone live. So far, a total of three different editions have surfaced for the racing simulator, with one additional add-on bundle for those who are either subscribed to Xbox Game Pass or are looking forward to buying the Standard or Deluxe variant of the game. 

Speaking of which, the primary version that the developers would like to turn your attention to is the Forza Motorsport Premium Bundle, letting fans access the base game 5 days earlier from launch i.e. 5 October. In addition, a whole swath of goodies is followed up afterward, including the Race Day Car Pack, Car Pass, VIP Membership, and Welcome Pack. 

Next comes the Forza Motorsport Premium Add-Ons Bundle, which is a balanced approach for those who already have Xbox Game Pass, so don’t really feel the need to buy any of Forza Motorsport’s available editions, but still want to play the racer early. The cherry on top is that if you’re a Game Pass subscriber, you’ll get 10% off this bundle. Everything apart from the base game is included in the add-on at hand. 

Last but not least outside of the title’s Standard Edition, which is only inclusive of the base game, the Forza Motorsport Deluxe Edition is something that can possibly entice you into purchasing it. This specific variant comes with just the Car Pass as an added goodie. Here’s how the official Forza Motorsport blog describes this as, 

Expand your Forza Motorsport garage with 30 extra cars at one low price! Car Pass delivers 30, new-to-Forza cars to your game weekly, one per week, for you to collect, build and race. Your first redemption of every car in the Car Pass is granted at no additional in-game credit cost.” 

Forza Motorsport was first officially announced in 2020 and has seen multiple teasers and other pertinent news up until this moment. Now, however, the game finally has a concrete release date and is racing to our shelves on October 10, 2023. Stay tuned to the site for more Forza Motorsport pieces.
