Games Workshop is evidently working on nine new Warhammer games behind the closed curtains of the studio. The tidbit was recently found in the annual FY2023 report. Some major titles are planned to launch in the current fiscal year, including Realms of Ruin and Space Marine 2. Moreover, a combat racing game dubbed Speed Freaks was also revealed in the last fiscal year; it is unclear whether it will launch in the current year or not.

New games launching in 2023/24 include major titles – Realms of Ruin and Space Marine 2. There are also the computer role playing game Rogue Trader and digital collective card game Warpforge with unannounced release dates. In total there are nine unreleased games in development and two new licences were signed in the year,” reads the annual FY23 report.

Games Workshop generated £470.8 million in revenue with over 13.5 percent growth. The operating profits also boast a huge figure, reaching over £170.2m with an increase of 8.3 percent. Furthermore, the company has a cash equivalent of 32.2 million euros as of 2023. It is a tad bit higher than the cash equivalent of 2022, which stood at £30.4 million. The document further discusses the status of the last fiscal year in detail and how well the company performed amid the competition. For instance, the report stated how the prior fiscal year generated “the highest level of sales and the most profit […] since flotation 29 years ago.

Games Workshop has seemingly stayed above and beyond in terms of growth in earnings for almost the entirety of the last decade. It was the eighth consistent year to see an increase in sales and profit, causing yet another period of satisfactory yields. The games released in the last fiscal year, including Darktide, Boltgun, Tactics, and more, have continued to sell well, as said in the report, and bring an assortment of revenue to the studio.

All of the nine Warhammer projects currently in the brewer are certainly a piece of good news for the excited community. They also ensure the future successes of Games Workshop, considering the high popularity of the Warhammer universe. Although no further details have been revealed about the projects, we may eventually learn more in the future.
