Lords of the Fallen has received its new patch that features over 100 fixes, tweaks, and enhancements. According to the patch notes, this includes improved visual quality of HDR, extra savegame safeguards, and the resolution of several rare crash factors. The update has also improved co-op, diversified PVP, buffed some bosses, polished AI behavior, and implemented various balance adjustments.

To alleviate the problem of corrupted save files, an additional failsafe has been added to help reduce its occurrence. For future instances, the devs advise the players to email their corrupted files to support@cigames.com so the team can identify the origins of the problem.

Moving on, various crashes have been resolved to improve the stability of Lords of the Fallen. Factors such as AIs casting certain abilities, nanite sending certain data to GPUs, AIs & players targeting each other with specific abilities, and the player aiming in the ranged mode under particular circumstances were fixed.

Performance has also been enhanced as of update 1.1.282 for Lords of the Fallen. An FPS degradation issue that occurred when over-interacting with the in-game menu in one session, followed by a stamina-consuming action just afterward was resolved. General smoke VFX has been optimized in addition to shadow enhancements in Spurned Progeny’s arena.

The patch also tweaks the bosses to make the encounters more thrilling. Sanctified Huntress is now able to use her dash-teleport when cornered against a wall by the player or an NPC helper. Moreover, Griefbound and her minions received an aggression boost in addition to the Sundered One receiving the same treatment. The devs have also increased the visual feedback for the frostbite projectiles of Kinrangr Guardian Folard
