But since the developers have yet to reveal the resolution Lords of the Fallen will run at, there is still some unknown to this situation. Though most titles have a performance mode with 1440p 60 FPS and 4K 30 FPS, we can’t be sure until officially announced. Nevertheless, the confirmation of 60 FPS on the Xbox Series S has surprised fans since many believe developers have difficulty achieving that on the budget console.
You sure about the Series S? I have one and this is a big win, because most of the games run at 30 FPS,” says one Twitter user.
Redfall and Gotham Knights are among the more recent titles that were locked at 30 FPS and received severe backlash for it. As such, this is good news for fans of the classic dark RPG who can enjoy a smooth experience on these major consoles. Lords of the Fallen was developed by Hexworks and published by CI Games and is scheduled to release on October 13, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
