The YouTuber dives into details like the sprites of the Mortal Kombat 2 roster, background assets, sounds, coding, and much more. Moreover, TehDrewsus could seemingly not even explore half of all the leaked material. Another fancier on Twitter, Pegasus Kid, created a long thread to record all their findings.

Pegasus goes through all the sprites and shares his wisdom regarding each character found in the files of the source code.

The first highlighted character is Johnny Cage; a variety of new animations have been discovered in the leaked source code. Mortal Kombat 2 seemingly canned a lot of inclusions, like the fatality for this character, and “MK3-Styled Combos.

Another enticing fatality was never added for Shao Khan. The fatality included the character hurling the biggest fist from the sky to hit the opponent from the top of the screen.
