Sony recently presented its “Creative Entertainment Vision,” a strategy meeting that discussed the company’s long-term plan for future technological advances in the next 10 years. An interview featuring Neil Druckmann, the creator of The Last of Us series, was also published, where he talked about Naughty Dog’s next project. While keeping the title under wraps, Neil claims it is “perhaps the most thrilling yet.”
I’ve been lucky to work on several dream projects and am currently excited about a new one, which is perhaps the most thrilling yet,” said Neil Druckmann.
The president of Naughty Dog also talks about bridging the gap between gamers and non-gamers and using that visibility not only for the mystery project but for the whole benefit of gaming. And he goes as far as to claim that this title “could redefine mainstream perceptions of gaming.”

Is Naughty Dog Working On A New IP?
Many rumors stemming from various sources have suggested that Naughty Dog could be working on a new IP. One of the devs from the studio was recently spotted prepping the new IP, as per his LinkedIn profile. Similarly, a new IP was also teased all the way back in The Last of Us Part 1, in the form of an easter egg. However, the info has still yet to be officially confirmed.

Regardless of the nature of the game, Neil plans to announce it when it’s near completion to avoid “work-life balance issues” that happened after announcing projects too early in the past.
