One Piece Odyssey’s Launch Trailer Showcases Brilliant OST

One Piece Odyssey couldn’t get enough praise as the popular anime One Piece’s most up-to-date gaming adaptation. The game recently had a playable demo come out for it, and it showcased just a hint of the title’s full capability. Truth be told, we like what we’re seeing of Odyssey at this moment in time.

Anyhow, if you’ve been meaning to get introduced to Odyssey in the proper way, now’s the best time to acquaint yourself with it ahead of the game’s release. The One Piece Odyssey launch trailer just dropped online, and it’s packing quite a punch to its name.  

The Rundown: 

• One Piece Odyssey is a turn-based RPG and a game adaptation of the mega-popular One Piece anime franchise. It was announced in March 2022 and was slated for a January 2023 release in September of last year. 
• The title just had its launch trailer come out, showcasing an epic original soundtrack and multiple cutscenes detailing the title’s gameplay.
• Prior to the launch trailer, the playable demo for One Piece Odyssey also made headlines in recent times. You can download and enjoy it on your Xbox or PlayStation console.

It was reported earlier that One Piece Odyssey would feature Grand Logs comprising videos for the purpose of detailing the anime’s intricate and long-running lore.

This is for newcomers who are just starting out with this massive franchise, so they can catch up to everything recent and experience the game from a well-informed perspective. Of course, One Piece is a series that spans over 1000 episodes, given its initial airing year of 1997.

There’s bound to be lore elements in there that will be too complicated to understand for the casual player, so the addition of Grand Logs does appear to be utterly thoughtful. 

As for the game itself, Odyssey was officially revealed in March, but the release date for the title arrived later. It was in September when the developers announced that the game would be making landfall on January 13.

Moreover, the Collector’s Edition of the title was also dropped in that time frame, detailing the load of extra goodies that One Piece enthusiasts can potentially get upon purchasing the stylized variant of the game.

One Piece Odyssey’s pre-orders have been live for a while now and can be availed of for the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms.
