Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII was loved by the fans of the series for how it expanded upon the already beautiful story of the Playstation game, Final Fantasy VII which came out in 1997 for the Playstation 1.

After the release of FF VII Remake, it was only about time that Square Enix announced a remake for the PSP prequel of the game as well. The fans of the FF franchise were waiting for any news regarding the CRISIS CORE -FFVII- REUNION as the release date was allegedly leaked by a french retail site a couple of weeks ago.

However, the game was officially announced in the Nintendo Direct 2022 event to be released on 13th December 2022. Just a day later, the pre-orders are now also up for the game on multiple platforms.

Fans can rejoice at the fact that there would be no additional content in the game according to one of the game developers, Mariko Sato.

It is also worth mentioning that this game would be standalone, so you don’t have to play FF VII or its remake to enjoy the story of the game to its full potential. But, playing those games before trying out the new remake would certainly add to the experience.
