Ubisoft’s Roller Champions Allegedly Releases In Two Weeks

The delay-inflicted free-to-play alluring sports title from Ubisoft is within touching distance now.

Since its inception, Roller Champions has been the target of many delays, but the wait is finally reaching a halt. The time to put your skates on and get rolling with Roller Champions is finally drawing closer. Roller Champions is Ubisoft’s next free-to-play innovative title planning to take the sports genre by storm.

The premise of the game is a 3v3 third-person title where two teams duke it out to gain control of a ball and score points. Regardless, casually strolling with the ball isn’t adequate — one must run an entire lap without facing interruptions to score. Those interruptions will be in the form of an opposing team tackling you down into blades of grass.

The much-anticipated Roller Champions is finally on the horizon. On Twitter, an accredited leaker, @ALumia_Italia, unveiled the supposed release date for Xbox consoles (and assumably other platforms included, too) — many a factor reinforce this rumor as well.

A couple of weeks ago, the game went Gold, meaning that Roller Champions is finally out of the development phase and ready to be shipped away. Furthermore, the title has been through enough delays, and the game looks pretty much ready if it has gone Gold. Additionally, Roller Champions was also rated on ESRB earlier this year.

Roller Champions is reportedly coming out on May 25th, as alleged by this rumor and further confirmed by sources from Tom Henderson. The recent artwork used for the game’s promotion is also new, with newly designed characters that have a more modern look than when we last saw them. Recently, the file size of the game for Xbox consoles was also unearthed.

The size for other platforms is currently out in the woods, but Xbox consoles are rumored to have an approximately 6.67 GB file size. Ubisoft has yet to announce the imminent release date for the game, alongside other details. Hopefully, we can get a good glimpse at Roller Champions before it releases with some new gameplay or details.
