Story Highlights
- Stellar Blade is an upcoming hack-and-slash action-adventure for the PS5 by Korean dev Shift Up.
- The game isn’t currently out yet and is pre-ordering for a full $69.99 at the moment across stores.
- One retailer, however, has discounted the game to a certain extent, allowing you to pick it up cheaper.
Stellar Blade is pretty much a global phenomenon at the moment, shooting up in popularity for reasons more than one. If you’re like me and are already charmed by the game’s demo, then you’re probably going to want to pick it up sharpish. Interestingly enough, Playasia, a known entertainment product marketplace, has discounted the title to $55.99 as opposed to its $69.99 default MSRP.
It seems that although the game’s original version is Japanese, it ships with multiple audio languages, including English, with subtitles for even more lingoes. That said, the shipping fee is something to take into account, as it adds about $6-$7 more to your total at checkout. However, as per Playasia’s policies, it’s easy to circumvent the added fee if you shop for over $99 on the platform.
Scour through the website to see if there’s something else you’d like to purchase alongside your copy of Stellar Blade to save some good money. FYI, they’ve also got Rise of the Ronin in there, putting it up for sale for about $58. Best check that out too while you’re at it.

Stellar Blade Has Caught The World’s Attention At The Moment
In other news, Shift Up’s latest venture into the action-adventure realm is currently making rounds on Amazon and the PlayStation Store, climbing to the top of pre-order sales charts while dethroning the likes of Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, Microsoft’s Sea of Thieves, and Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree as well.
Stellar Blade has a release date of April 26, 2024, for the PlayStation 5 as an exclusive title. Shift Up pushed out a playable demo for the game on March 29, giving players just a tiny little slice of what’s to come ahead. Moreover, Eve’s design has been subject to criticism by many, complaining to the developer for creating a character that looks “unrealistic.” I couldn’t disagree more with these silly claims, honestly.
