Rocksteady Studios is furthering the — dare I say — once-iconic Batman: Arkham franchise with a live service third-person shooter in the name of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which is set to receive consistent post-launch support from the side of the developers throughout its outing into the industry. Ahead of the game’s release, we now know what its download size looks like on day one.

The game is scheduled to release on a variety of platforms, PC included, but the information we have now only pertains to the PlayStation 5 specifically. As per trusted industry insider PlayStation Game Size, the game will take up about 45 GB of space on the console, but added day-one patches could crank that figure up slightly, so bear that in mind.
Although the info is only for the PS5, it’s not out of line to assume that pretty much a similar figure for the game’s file size could be allotted on its Xbox Series X|S and PC counterparts as well. If you head over to Steam, for starters, the official system requirements of Suicide Squad say that at least 65 GB of storage space is required to run the game optimally. That’s normally stretched extra, so players have a comfortable range in mind as they download their games and keep pace with forthcoming updates.

On a side note, the developers just revealed Suicide Squad’s 2024 roadmap, and honestly, it’s better than what I expected. One month after the game’s release, the squad will welcome another character to their ranks, the infamous Joker—but not the one you’d expect. In addition, there’s more playable environments coming, new story chapters, and other content to hopefully keep players hooked to the title.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is scheduled to make landfall on February 2, 2024, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The developers have outlined two purchasable editions of the game, with the Deluxe variant offering multiple in-game bonuses for players across the board. Oh, and don’t believe every rumor you read online about Suicide Squad—this exclusive report should offer a clearer perspective.
