Suicide Squad’s End-Game Currency About To Receive Major Changes

"For our upcoming patches we are looking to address login issues & server issues."

Story Highlights

  • Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is Rocksteady’s latest addition to the Batman: Arkham series.
  • A new blog post from the side of the developers addresses current issues and new incoming changes.
  • While the team is hard at work trying to resolve login issues, more plans are in motion for the title.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a brand-new venture of Rocksteady Games and a continuation of the once-iconic Batman: Arkham franchise, though I’m not sure if that’s what we should be affiliating the game with at this point, given the differences involved. A recently posted developer update on the official Suicide Squad website, however, has detailed some of the new changes that you can expect from Rocksteady going forward.

For our upcoming patches we are looking to address login issues & server issues. And while we might not be able to fix all of those issues right away, I want to assure everyone: This is the top priority for usWe hear and feel your frustration and we can only agree, it’s unacceptable for the players who are affected by this. We need to do better, and we’re working hard to fix these issues,” affirms Rocksteady.

The team is currently on the matter of resolving login- and server-related issues that are currently plaguing player experience across the board. However, while that goes on, Rocksteady confirms that major changes are about to be applied to the Promethium game loop, with Promethium being the end-game currency of Suicide Squad used to access Incursion Missions in the title.

Raising Hell will reward 3000 Promethium for completing Tier 1, and each subsequent tier will reward an increasing amount of Promethium. Essentially, Raising Hell will be the way to get Promethium quickly.”

Other Noteworthy Changes Planned For Suicide Squad

Rocksteady says that it’s been receiving frequent player complaints regarding Mutators, specifically BOOM! and Affliction Immunity. The dev clarifies the role of Mutators first and then goes on to ask for feedback from the community on whether certain restrictions should be applied or not. Lastly, some of the low-level Legendary Items that aren’t being put to use right now could receive more balancing down the road.
