The Sims 4 Could Be Getting A New DLC/Kit Pack

The Sims 4 Décor to The Max is going to be releasing soon, suggests ESRB rating.

It’s been almost 8 years since the release of The Sims 4. The game was a huge success for EA both critically and financially. Almost 36 million players have played the game as of February 2022. Even after so long, The Sims 4 still has a strong player base and that is mainly due to the heaps of content the game has got post-release. From expansions to DLCs, EA has released a lot of stuff for the social simulation after its launch. According to a new ESRB rating, The Sims 4 will be getting another one of these content packages.

ESRB has recently rated a potential The Sims 4 DLC/Kit pack called “Décor to The Max” for PlayStation, Xbox, macOS and Windows. There is no info about this content package anywhere. But, ESRB officially rating it means that we will see Décor to The Max very soon.

EA hasn’t officially told us about this new content pack. Therefore, this is news for the players considering there weren’t even any rumors. A rating from ESRB does mean we will see an official confirmation from EA soon enough. Who can hopefully enlighten us about the contents of this The Sims 4 Kit pack.

ESRB gave this new expansion a “T for Teens” rating. Sexual themes, violence and crude humor were given as the main reason for this rating. This is no surprise considering the nature of Sims games in general. People can do a lot of weird things in The Sims 4 and they definitely take advantage of that.

Not much additional information is given on the ESRB rating at all. Although the rating does say it will include in-game purchases for this new game pack. But, microtransactions are pretty much implied when talking about expansions or DLCs of The Sims 4 so this is not anything new.

No one is sure about the nature of this upcoming content package. It could be a DLC, a kit pack or a new expansion of some kind. The rating gives us minimal information about this Sims 4 content pack so we have no idea what the players will be getting.

However, what makes Décor to The Max unique right now is that players had no prior announcement of it. We have no idea if this is a minor pack, a major game pack or a complete expansion/DLC. Décor to The Max is currently a mystery and we will have to wait and see what Maxis tell us about it. But, we know one thing for sure, it is coming on The Sims 4 very soon.
