UFL Worldwide Gameplay Reveal Event To Take Place Soon

Ultimate Football League is taking the sports genre by a storm of anticipation.

Scarcely ever do competitors step up to compete against giants like FIFA. A few selected titles dominate the sports genre of video games, and dethroning them has been nothing short of failures. From time to time, rivals rise out of ashes of failed attempts like a phoenix—only the chosen surge through the genre towards mainstream success. UFL Game World is shaping up to be the competitor that FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer need.

A New Player Has Joined The Game

Ultimate Football League has been in development since 2016; it is being crafted in Unreal Engine. The game proclaims itself as “a revolutionary new global football league.” UFL offers a reserve of 5000 professional licensed players and already upholds amass of deals with FIFPro, as do EA with FIFA. It sets itself apart from FIFA by being a free-to-play game. UFL claims to be “fair-to-play,” meaning it’s a skill-based game instead of a “pay-to-win” experience like some fans claim FIFA to be.

The cinematic trailer for the game shows off some lightning and how the visuals will feel. However, it does not include any gameplay clips. If this crisp lighting is part of the actual gameplay, it may score a goal against FIFA.

Will It Live Up To The Hype?

Their ideas and the cinematic trailer works like an appetizer, leaving us to crave more, but that won’t be for long. From what we have gathered from their ideas, the game seems to have an edge in a few departments when it comes to FIFA. It’s not easy to be a rival against FIFA, after all. In my opinion, even if UFL doesn’t steal the crown right away, it is still going to be unique in many aspects and take the cake in a few areas.

Strikerz Inc. CEO Eugene Nashilov once stated the specifics of gameplay:

“You will manage your club, form a roster, develop tactics and compete with other gamers in seasons to prove your skills and climb to the very top of the league. Competitive, fair gaming is at the very core of UFL’s gameplay. In this competition, your victory depends solely on your gaming skills and the choices you make.”

Ultimate Football League is focused on being an online-only experience. However, they plan on implementing an offline mod that can be enjoyed with your friends. Strikerz Inc. has no plans to include a career mode.

Official player partnerships have been established with prominent figures like Roberto Firmino from Liverpool and Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City. It also includes official club connections with West Ham United, Sporting Lisbon, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Borussia Mönchengladbach. So the roster is looking great.

UFL is being developed for “all major gaming consoles,” as they stated. “With regards to the platforms, we’re primarily focused on bringing UFL to PlayStation and Xbox, but PC is also a platform that we’re closely considering.” The chances of UFL to release on PC depends on its success on consoles. It boasts a platform that pledges to link football fans around the globe.

UFL Release Date And Time

The release date for the game is not out of the woods yet. Strikerz Inc has been vocal about it in the past:

As of writing, the first gameplay reveal for the game is half a dozen hours away. Last month, it was confirmed that we would get our first look at gameplay for UFL on Thursday, 27 January. Now the timing has been confirmed as well. Strikrz Inc. will unveil the first gameplay for UFL at 3 pm ET / 8 pm GMT. This event can be witnessed live at this link. This ought to be the most anticipated event for the developers who have put their heart and soul into this project since 2016.

It’s safe to say that we may soon get a potential release date after this reveal as well. At least there will be some possibility of speculations regarding that.

All in all, the future of the sports gaming genre is beaming with anticipation and excitement. Many sports fans have high expectations from this upcoming title. UFL may set itself as a prominent football experience and encourage other developers to implement more unique elements in their sports-related titles.
