NFTs have been in trend for a while now and their rage doesn’t seem to die down. Every industry on the planet has utilized this new technology in one way or another. From entertainment to sports, no field has let this opportunity slide by. Our gaming industry is no different and many major studios, like Konami, have auctioned NFTs of many IPs. Now, another huge company in the form of BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment is joining in on this NFT craze with a new partnership.
BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment has announced its brand new NFT platform based on the dance music IP, DEN-ON-BU. Blockchain company, Gauidy, which specializes in crypto-based content, worked on this new platform with the company. It has titled this new music-based service “World of Denonbu”, according to a recent press release from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment.
BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment did give us some key details about this new platform. World of Denonbu will allow people to browse NFTs related to the IP and own them. NFTs will be present in the form of Music Crystals on the website and the company will update the platform regularly with new content of specific value, such as community-made content and even exclusive live performance events, in the future.
Another noteworthy statement in the press release was that people could obtain these NFTs for free. People can go to the @denonbu_world account on Twitter and retweet specific tweets for a chance to win serial codes for certain NFTs. With these serial codes, players can go to the website to listen to songs through the Music Crystals.

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment aims to create a bond between the creators and players of the DEN-ON-BU franchise through special events centered around music. Gaudiy’s NFT platform just takes this interaction to the next level. While NFTs have been a controversial matter in the gaming community even with such exclusivity, companies still continue to utilize them and this doesn’t seem to stop anytime soon. Hopefully, this new NFT series from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment brings something that players like.
