Xbox Game Pass Family & Friends Official Logo Possibly Revealed

The Xbox Game Pass family plan will arrive sometime in the future.

It is not entirely wrong to hail the Xbox Game Pass as the Netflix of the gaming industry; it is arguably the best gaming subscription service, after all. The Game Pass is widely known for providing a vast changing roster of AAA and indie games alike. The rotating catalog of over 100 games keeps the community immersed in its offerings.

The idea of the Xbox Game Pass started due to the troubled launch of the Xbox One and now has well-renowned in the gaming community. The first-party games from Bethesda and the Xbox Game Studios are released on the Game Pass on day 1. Several third-party titles are also featured from publishers like EA and Ubisoft, among many others. Microsoft also has achieved success in Cloud Technology.

The giant subscription service spans a bundle of devices like Android, web, iOS, and soon on Samsung TVs through its Xbox Cloud Gaming. However, the Xbox Game Pass does not stop there. The fan-favorite subscription service has also deepened its root in computers through its PC Game Pass. The massive subscription service has dominated the gaming industry for years and continues to expand to new horizons.

Despite all the stardom, the Xbox Game Pass has always lacked a family plan, unlike Netflix. In simpler words, the upcoming service will offer the ability to have multiple accounts in the same subscription. The Game Pass family plan was revealed exclusively by Windows Central. The official logo might have been leaked online. The branding has been shared by a prominent Microsoft and Xbox insider, @ALumia_Italia.

The official branding appears to be a simple Xbox logo with the statement “Game Pass Friends & Family” written on a dark green background. It was apparently located in the back end. Soon the Xbox Game Pass will receive the long-awaited family plan; many services have already featured such a service for years. Services like Disney+ and Netflix are pretty famous for their family plans.

The buffet of games will be enjoyable for up to five accounts at a time and will let the accounts enjoy all the benefits of the Xbox Game Pass. This method will be more lucrative than buying the subscription service for five separate accounts. The family plan will be accessible for players living within the same country.

A lot of details remain to be cleared yet. However, Microsoft is slating towards revealing more news about the upcoming family plan. The service will allegedly be made public after more testing; it is currently in limited testing in countries like Ireland.

Although the branding is not officially revealed, do take it with a grain of salt. What are your thoughts regarding this official branding? Do let us know your opinions in the comments below.
