More information will follow suit in the future.

Story Highlights

  • Xbox is seemingly partnering with the Oreo brand to bring a new Oreo-inspired Xbox Series S edition to the market.
  • The new limited-time Series S edition will resemble a tasty Oreo cookie that has been dipped in a thick glass of milk, featuring a round shape for the first time.
  • The Xbox UK account on Twitter has merely teased the prospect for now, leaving a lot of details hazy, including the available regions and the scope of the event.
  • More details will be revealed in the future, as added by Xbox in the teaser tweet.

Limited-edition Xbox consoles are not new in the gaming sphere, with Microsoft being recognized for partnering with unique brands for remarkable console variants. This time, the conglomerate appears to have shaken hands with one of the most-renowned cookie brands in the world.

As initially announced on the Twitter handle, Xbox is reportedly slated to collaborate with Oreo to bring a new edition of Series S consoles to the market. The new variant teases a rather scrumptious-looking console, with it completely resembling the Oreo cookies we know and love worldwide.

The tweet also features a short video that gives us the first look at the new Xbox Series S Oreo-inspired edition. The Oreo falls into a glass of thick milk, only for it to glitch into the new teased edition. The collab between Xbox and Oreo has led to a crossbreed between two giant companies, resulting in a rather peculiar product.

The renowned box shape of Series S will also become rounded in the new edition if the announced tease is slated to be the final product. In other words, this is one of the only few, if not the only edition that alters the shape of the console for the first time. The new edition will resemble an Oreo cookie drenched in thick milk.

The details surrounding what regions the new Xbox Series S edition will be available for purchase are scarce. Regardless, judging by the Twitter handles featuring the United Kingdom region, we can expect the new collaboration to at least target the UK and Ireland.

Xbox has merely teased the new edition and more official particulars are seemingly planned for the future. We will be able to gather all the details, including the available regions in an official reveal.

This is certainly not the first time both giants have partnered for a product. Xbox and Oreo recently collaborated to bring new limited-time Oreo cookies into the market; the event went live in January 2023. The new cookies featured Xbox Logo and the iconic A, B, X, and Y controller buttons alongside a directional arrow.

The new Oreo and Xbox event was only available in a select few countries in the European region. Moreover, the month-old event brought in-game prizes for popular titles, like Forza Horizon 5, Sea of Thieves, and Halo Infinite. The prizes also featured custom Oreo hardware, Xbox consoles, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate memberships.

The inception of next-gen consoles was inevitably an exciting time for the gaming industry, with the Xbox Series family featuring a quite powerful duo of consoles. Unfortunately, the box-looking shape was not to everyone’s taste in esthetic appeal. However, many limited-time editions have emerged on the market to curb the problem.

The little towers of power look sleek for their shape, and the limited editions only make them look more attractive in the eyes of the beholder. The new Oreo-themed Xbox Series S ought to appeal to the masses in the gaming industry, and it may even make a plethora of gamers crave some Oreo cookies amid gaming sessions.
