Story Highlights
- Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is one of the most popular action-adventure RPGs released in 2023.
- The game has been recently added to EA Play’s catalog, which is part of Xbox Game Pass.
- In doing so, the title has seen a massive spike in player count on Xbox, as per a new report.
According to the well-reputed achievement-tracking website TrueAchievements, Respawn’s Jedi: Survivor has shot up in popularity over the course of the past few days, thanks to its arrival on EA Play, which is part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. To be precise, the game has seen a whopping 570.4% growth in Xbox players ever since it made landfall on the service.
For those who missed it, the company announced two weeks ago that the action-adventure RPG is now becoming a part of EA’s premier subscription service. And since that service also joined hands with Xbox Game Pass, there are glad tidings ahead for active subscribers. Beware that only Game Pass Ultimate members get to access EA Play’s catalog; basic tier members are barred from its library.
I’m honestly glad this game gets to have more attention to its name, given how high-quality and fun-filled it truly is as a Soulslike and that it knows how to respect my time. Besides, Respawn has been religiously supporting Jedi: Survivor post-launch, pushing out one patch after the other to streamline players’ user experience across the board.
Jedi: Survivor Is One Of The Best Releases In Recent Years
A continuation of the Star Wars Jedi franchise, Survivor is the second installment in the series that continues the story of Cal Kestis, showcasing his growth from a mere padawan to a grown Jedi warrior with strong morals and a sense of responsibility toward his kin. It did suffer on launch, no thanks to poor optimization that plagued playability, but Respawn was quick to address persistent problems.
