Respawn Entertainment

Founders of Respawn Entertainment, Jason West and Vince Zampella, are the brains behind the original Call of Duty games, and their part in the development of the franchise lasted till 2010. The company then ventured into other fps shooter genres where they created the Titanfall universe, featuring urban warfare, sci-fi shooter, and pilot-controlled machines. Post-2017, Respawn Entertainment jumped the bandwagon of the battle-royale genre and released Apex Legends. The game is set in the same Titanfall universe where players control characters called Legends, each having unique abilities. Interestingly, Overwatch and Valorant resemble pretty closely with Apex Legends. Still, there are significant differences between the three. As of today, Apex Legends rivals neck to neck with Fortnite and PUBG. However, the class diversity, dynamic gameplay, and versatile play style of Apex Legends set it apart from the competition.
