Developed by Toys For Bob, a US-based studio, the game was originally released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Later in 2021, it was released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC. Now, a package to a YouTuber from the publishers confirms the Steam release of the game on 18th October.

In a YouTube video, a respected gaming Youtuber, CanadianGuyEh, announced that he has received a package from Activision, the current publisher of Crash Bandicoot.

The package contained an item list on the back of the box. It had the date Steam release date for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. The announcement read as follows,

This ended a long wait for the fans of the franchise. And it showed in their positive reaction. But that was not all. The package also revealed that fans should also expect the next Crash Bandicoot game’s announcement during The Game Awards on 12th October.
