PewDiePie Heavily Criticizes Liver King’s Apology Video

Reacting on Liver King’s apology video in which he admitted to using steroids, PewDiePie said that it is performative and lame.

Brian Johnson, popularly known as Liver King, is a fitness influencer who is widely popular for eating raw organs every day. He has repeatedly denied steroids being the cause of his excessively muscular physique. However, it all proved to be a lie when he was exposed by another fitness influencer.

A YouTuber named Derek, on his channel More Plates More Dates, exposed Liver King’s lies with proof of his steroid use after which King was forced to make an apology video that was heavily roasted by PewDiePie.

In a 13-minute video, PewDiePie reacted to Liver King’s apology video. Initially, he criticized his supplement business saying, “Of course like any scumbag influencer, he sells supplements.” He was surprised by Liver King’s choice of words and claimed that the influencer was still ‘flexing’ his physique.

“Before social media, I was rich and anonymous, and after social media, I am still rich but no longer anonymous.”, claimed Liver King.

Hearing this, PewDiePie appeared to be shocked saying, “The f**k does that have to do with anything?

Major Takeaways:

  • Liver King, who has always denied taking steroids, was recently exposed by another fitness influencer.
  • He then uploaded an apology video admitting his use of steroids for his unnatural muscular physique.
  • PewDiePie reacted to his video slamming him for his poor choice of words and said the apology was ‘performative and lame’.

PewDiePie also slammed King’s explanation in which he suggested that his goal was to help men suffering from depression, “He’s selling supplements, that’s really the reason… You are the problem, you are not the solution.”

He went on to say that if Liver King would have had admitted this on his own, rather than after being exposed, he would have respected him, “But this is just performative and lame.”

PewDiePie also criticized Liver King’s claim of taking steroids owing to his low self-esteem. He said that he can’t sympathize with King’s claim saying, “I also sometimes have low self-esteem, that is not an excuse to take steroids.”

He further added that had King said that he wanted to take steroids because it was the right choice for him, he would have bought it but using the claim of self-esteem “is so f**king stupid”.

PewDiePie concluded his video by highlighting body dysmorphia. He talked about how dangerous it is to spread the message of steroids, especially emphasizing how people can become dependent on it which would ultimately lead to them losing strength.
